Position Description & Responsibilities :

A Project Manager manages small to large-scale projects using Compuware's project management methodology and tools, identifies project and financial risks and recommends solutions. They coordinate and spearhead the development and preparation of proposals. The Project Manager is in charge of maintaining good relationships with customers (internal and external) and making sure that work is carried out efficiently and professionally. They conduct rigorous follow-ups with customers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. They are also in charge of planning and leading project meetings.

Primary Roles/Responsibilities:

* Develops proposals and defines solutions in collaboration with customers, the delivery teams, and Products and Services Management.
* Monitors the project status and communicates on the progress of the project to the customers and Compuware management.
* Manages the scope of the project, the contract compliance and the billing follow-up with the client.
* Prepares and manages the project, including the identification of the clients' needs and resources, milestones, deliverables and deadlines.
* Ensure good and effective communication and collaboration between team members working on the project
* Organize and coordinate assignments for the project team (briefings, reports, etc.)
* Implement PMO processes and use the templates
* Guide and oversee the project on a day-to-day basis
* Coordinate the customer approval process for each step of the project
* Provide supervision and follow-up for all aspects of the project including deadlines and authorized budgets from customers
* Ensure that projects are completed and delivered on time and meet client expectations
* Oversee requests for changes, corrections, and unresolved issues
* Give account of the work completed on the project and of its overall state of advancement
* Ensure the quality of deliverables
* Ensure that all material used during the project is documented and archived for future reference
* Participates in the definition of project management and software implementation methodologies.

Required Skills/Competencies:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or the equivalent.
* PMP certification is an important asset.
* 7 or more years experience in leading and managing complex IT projects.
* Thorough expertise in project management tools and methodologies.
* Proven experience in successful project management as a supplier of software or services that have led to client satisfaction and profitability of the mandate.
* Proven capacity to efficiently communicate and build high-level customer relations.
* Keen sense of customer needs, capacity to analyze and define the customer business needs.
* Capacity to anticipate, identify and solve problems through negotiation and by making use of adequate resources.
* Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken.
* Demonstrates team spirit and strong sense of leadership.
* Available for travel outside of Canada.
* Knowledge of software products and technical architecture.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team.
* Strong customer interfacing and negotiating skills.
* Excellent decision-making skills and initiative in solving problems.

The Services Account Manager is responsible for managing Compuware's business relationship with its customer(s). This includes development of new accounts, selling new business to existing accounts, and management of resources performing on accounts.

Primary Roles/Responsibilities:

* Prospect, qualify, solution, close and manage Compuware staffing sales to deliver value in the application development lifecycle space.
* Leverage Compuware’s strategic advantage with hundreds of products to ensure that your proposal has the highest value proposition.
* Develop and maintain a current account plan for each major client detailing their business and IT objectives and their key relationships, our current business with the client, and our plans to grow the business within the account.
* Identify strategic staffing opportunities within existing and new accounts, including placing professional staff to supplement IT projects, managing projects, or outsourcing the development and application maintenance.
* Build and manage a business pipeline to exceed branch goals for revenue and contribution margin.
* Coordinate and manage opportunity pursuit teams. This includes identification of team members, use of Opportunity Review processes, solution, proposal, and sales strategy development.
* Align professional staff career management to maximize business revenue and margin.
* Negotiate profitable contracts for Compuware by proposing rates within our target profit range.
* Build relationships with existing clients from supplier to business partner.
* Maintain service levels with clients that exceed their expectations.
* Communicate branch goals to professional staff, and the role the staff plays in meeting the goals and growing the business.
* Work closely with your dedicated recruiter to ensure that the staff your prospects need are always in “the funnel” with more available for short term assignements.

Required skills
* Extensive experience in the sale and delivery of IT resourcing solutions, preferably in direct sales, solution/complex selling, team selling, and competitive selling.
* Proven track record of top sales achievements and exceeding quotas.
* A strong understanding of the System Development LifeCycle and how Compuware’s products and services can add value to your resource solution.
* Experienced in the IT industry with technical/software/application development.
* Ability to analyze complex business and technology issues while mapping a prospective client's solution requirements.
* Experienced in successfully executing complex, consultative sales cycles with CIOs.
* Ability to forecast and qualify opportunities, assess prospect value, and generate new sales.
* Experience selling in a team environment.
* Experience working with CIO-level and Director-level executives, business partners and system integrators.

Desired Skills
* Effective communicator, both oral and written, in English and French.

ATG - J2EE developers wanted

Job Description
Analyze, design and develop software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment taking complete ownership of technical solution. Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences. Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goals.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
•5+ years of J2EE and Java programming experience
•3+ years of experience in implementing ATG 7.x based applications using Commerce, Personalization and Scenarios, ATG Content Administration. Experience with ATG Merchandising and ATG Search and asset
•Java/J2EE application server experience including experience in JSP, web applications, Servlets, and custom tag libraries
•JSTL, JSP 2.0 or JSP expression language
•Advanced HTML skills: XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript , AJAX, XML, XSLT and basic UI Technologies
•SQL database and Java object-relational DB mapping
•JBoss, IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic or ATG Dynamo an asset
•Previous experience developing using object-oriented UI design (MVC, Swing, Struts, etc.)
•Excellent software architecture, implementation, and problem solving skills
•Familiarity with standard professional software development processes including source code control, unit testing, and code reviews
•Excellent written/verbal communication skills in both French and English
